We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Tyler, TX. This role is ideal for RNs with travel experience who are looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The Medical Surgical unit, known as 2 West C, is composed of twelve private rooms and two semi-private rooms, accommodating a maximum census of 16 patients. This unit specializes in telemetry capabilities and focuses on caring for patients with vascular disease diagnoses. The patient demographic ranges from young adulthood through geriatrics, with admissions that may also include other medical-surgical and telemetry overflow cases.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining patient ratios of 1:6
• Utilizing Epic for charting
• Floating as required
• Working weekends as needed

Please note that travelers residing in the following counties are not eligible for this contract: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.
