Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Observation Unit at a leading acute-care hospital in Knoxville, TN. We are seeking compassionate and skilled RNs to provide exceptional care to patients in a complex medical environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with a supportive team.
Position/Specialty: Observation Unit - Acute Care
Ratios: Vary according to need, but typically 1:6
Years of Experience Required: 2 years in a comparable acuity hospital
First-time Travelers: Accepted!
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Certifications Required: BLS
On-call Requirement: No
Block Schedule Accommodation: Will try to accommodate based on patient and unit needs
Pending License: Not accepted; must have an active unencumbered TN (or multi-state) RN license
Time Off Restrictions: Entire weeks during the holidays will not be approved; individual dates are negotiable depending on staffing needs
Special Requirements: Must have Cerner EMR experience. Must pass basic dysrhythmia interpretation test and medication test during orientation.
Shift Information: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
