Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Contract RN in the Emergency Department (ER) in Austin, TX. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can make a significant impact on patient care. With a commitment to excellence, we are looking for dedicated professionals to join our team for a 13-week assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology in patient care.
• Participate in trauma care and emergency interventions.

Requirements:

• Must Have: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications.
• Preferred: Meditech experience, trauma experience, inpatient experience, CPI certification.

Unit Information:

• 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast track, 5 behavioral health beds.
• Staffed by 111 professionals, including Charge Nurses and Patient Care Technicians.
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 BH, 1:3 cardiac/trauma.
• Utilizes Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers.
• EMR system: MEDITECH.
