Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neurology in Titusville, FL. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for RRTs to provide critical respiratory care to patients across various departments, including ICU, ER, and Labor and Delivery. We are dedicated to supporting our healthcare professionals and ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive.

Position Details:

• Experience Required: Open to candidates with 1 year of experience; community hospital experience is required.
• Local Traveler: No locals - candidates must be greater than 30 miles from the facility.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS, CRTT, NRP, PALS, Florida State License, RRT (preferred).
• Responsibilities: Provide respiratory care to patients in ICU, ER, Cardiac Cath Lab, Medical and Medical-surgical floors, PACU, Labor and Delivery/nursery. Experience with End-tidal CO2, tracheostomy care, brain death apnea, and exercise desaturation studies is required.
• Required Equipment Experience: Servo I, Servo U, V60 and AirVO2 (High Flow) machine, bubble CPAP, EV300.

Additional Details:

• 3 call outs may result in termination.
• Notice given 48 hours in advance of shift: Refusal to change may result in forfeiting guaranteed hours for the pay period.
• Notice given 1 week or more in advance of shift: Refusal to change may result in termination.
• Holiday Requirement: If 1-2 holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is required to work 1 Eve and 1 Holiday (not necessarily the same holiday). If 3 holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is required to work 1 Eve and 2 Holidays (not necessarily the same holidays).
