Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Med Surg and Telemetry? Join a leading acute-care hospital in Bellevue, NE, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position offers a 13-week contract with the opportunity to work night shifts in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit is focused on providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, surgical oncology, general surgery, GYN surgery, and OMFS patients. As an RN in this 36-bed unit, you will be responsible for monitoring telemetry patients and ensuring optimal care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Float to other units as needed to meet staffing requirements.

Requirements:

• 2 years of prior RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, NIH, CPI preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting.
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Travelers must be more than 100 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted.
• Pending licenses accepted, but must have license in hand at the time of submission for booking.

Weekend shifts will be required, with 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period. Holiday requirements include working 2 out of 3 major holidays. RTO restrictions allow up to two weeks of requests, which must be submitted with the application.

Scrubs are mandatory, with specific guidelines provided upon confirmation. Parking permits are available for approximately $55/month or daily rate parking options exist.
