We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a leading acute-care hospital in Denton, TX. This is a contract position in the Emergency Department (ED) with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Manage a patient population that includes Stroke, ACS, Diabetic, and AKD patients.
• Work in a 41-bed unit with an average of 135 patients per day, maintaining a 4:1 patient ratio.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience, with a minimum of 1 year as a travel nurse.
• Active certifications: TNCC, BLS, ALS, PALS or ENPC required; CPI upon extension.
• Level 3 trauma and primary stroke center experience preferred.
• Trauma experience is highly preferred.
