Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Lee's Summit, MO! We are seeking dedicated RNs with a passion for emergency care to provide high-quality treatment in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers a chance to work in a community hospital setting with a focus on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in a General Emergency Department, managing both adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform essential skills including IV therapy, phlebotomy, and medication administration.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct triage and isolation precautions as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an ER setting; first-timers not accepted.
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, PALS required.
• Skills: Proficient in managing a variety of conditions including respiratory issues, mental health crises, and pediatric emergencies.
• Work Schedule: Weekend shifts required; every third weekend and 8 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.
• Floating: Willingness to float to all SLHS Metro EDs as needed.
