Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D) | Everett, WA | Contract

Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Everett, WA. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-risk perinatal care unit, providing comprehensive maternity services and Level II NICU support. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience, though first-timers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide care for patients in labor and delivery, ensuring the highest standards of maternal and neonatal care.
Float to postpartum as needed, supporting a 1:1 staffing ratio in labor and 1:3 in postpartum with CNA support.
Work collaboratively with a skilled team, including 3 RNs per shift in triage and surgical techs for support.
Participate in the care of patients in the antepartum unit with a staffing ratio of 1:2-3.

Requirements:

2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
Availability for weekends and floating to postpartum is required.
All RTO must be submitted at the time of application.
Locals are not accepted for this position.

Unit Information:

High-risk perinatal care with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, and 30 postpartum beds.
3 ORs and 2 PACU beds available for surgical procedures.
Staffing includes 3-4 delivering providers, 2 CRNAs, and 2 Health Unit Coordinators available 24/7.

Scrub Color: Any (no reddish orange permitted).
Charting: EPIC.
Parking Cost: Facility Paid.
