We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech with expertise in Cardiac Cath Lab to join our team in Beckley, WV. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, where your skills will make a significant impact on patient care.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience required.
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certification required.
• ARRT certification and KY license required; willing to consider candidates who will apply for WV Licensure once offered.
• Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted. Medical and religious exemptions approved on a case-by-case basis.
• Must live 75+ miles from the facility; no locals will be considered.

Shift Details:

• Monday to Friday with 1 rotating weekday off each week.
• Call requirement: 20 shifts per 9-week schedule; must respond within 30 minutes for STEMI alerts.
• Call team consists of 2 RNs and 1 Rad Tech.
• Float required within scope; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.

Responsibilities:

• Table panning and scrubbing diagnostic & interventional cardiology cases.
• Assist with devices/tools: Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, ACIST injector.
• Device implants: Pacemakers & ICDs (single, dual, Bi-V), peripheral diagnostics & interventions.
• Cross-trained in EP (ablations) - training available.
• Our doctors use both radial & groin access.

Additional Information:

• Orientation held bi-weekly.
• Assignment confirmation due within 24 hours of offer.
