Join a leading healthcare provider as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Houma, LA. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs looking to work in a dynamic operating room environment. You will be part of a team that values patient care and teamwork.

Please ensure traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. You should not apply for a role if you are not comfortable with the above.

Holiday Availability: Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Although Halloween is not a paid holiday, some units may require traveler coverage. Holiday assignments are based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation.

Average Daily Census: 11 cases

Rooms: 5

Patient Population: Adults & geriatrics

Call: Call weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) once a month; one call day a week; one late day a week, and one 3rd late per week.

Skills Required: General, urology, gyn, ophthalmology, ortho, vascular, pulmonary, & endoscopy.

Certifications Required: BLS

Years of Experience Required: Greater than 3 years preferred.

Scrub Color: Scrubs are provided.
