Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech in the Cardiac Cath Lab at a leading acute-care hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. We are committed to providing outstanding patient care and are looking for skilled professionals to help us achieve that goal. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with a Level 2 Trauma Center.
Position / Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
Daily Caseload per Tech: 15 patients in department
Years of Experience Required: 2+ years experience working in the cath lab
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend call-off site with a 30-minute response time; sleep rooms are available on site.
On-Call Requirement: Every 3rd weekend.
Floating Requirement: Will float to Mercy Hospital - Unity campus as needed; no floating required to sister facilities.
Local Candidates: Not accepted; must be within a 100-mile radius.
Pending State License: Accepted.
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Special Requirements: Experience in CV and PVD labs, diagnostic and interventional angiograms, right and left heart caths, ASD and PFO closures, Impella, EKOS, rota-pro, athrectomy.
Equipment and Systems Experience Required: C-Arm Operations.
Equipment and Systems Experience Preferred: GE and Phillips, Siemens, MedRad, Excellian, GE Mac Lab, Q-Site, Synapse.
Scrub Experience Required: Yes.
Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT. ACLS and ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
Charting: Epic (Excellian).
Parking Cost: No parking fees.
