Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Dunn, NC. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic Emergency Department (ER) setting, where your skills and experience will make a significant impact on patient care. We are seeking dedicated RNs with a passion for emergency medicine.

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations. You will work 4x12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with a guaranteed call-off policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignment, ensuring your hours are secure. This contract position lasts for 13 weeks, with three openings available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Float between all Harnett Health locations as needed.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4.
• Participate in holiday shifts as required.
• Ensure compliance with all certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, NIH.
• Provide support during peak times and assist with makeup shifts as deemed necessary by the department.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Emergency Department.
• First-timers accepted.
• Weekend availability required (every other weekend).
• Must be willing to float between like units.
• Locals not accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule from Betsy Johnson and Central Harnett.
• Pending licenses are not accepted.
• Return Staff Policy: Must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler.
• System has a 2 contract limit (can only extend once) and must be gone for 6 months to return.
