Join a leading acute-care hospital in Pensacola, FL, as a Travel RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This facility is recognized as the area's only Atrial Fibrillation Certified hospital and was the first Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. As an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, the hospital provides comprehensive services in cardiology, oncology, neurology, orthopedics, and more.
Unit Profile:
- Number of Beds: Cath lab with 4 rooms and holding area
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Unit Staffing: 2 CV analysts, 10 RNs, 6 RT scrubs
- Type of Equipment: GE imaging
- Documentation System: Merge Hemodynamics, Meditech EMR
- Scheduling Requirements: 4-10 hour shifts, 6-8 shifts call per month, with one weekend per month
- Floating Policy: Not required
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: Cath Lab experience, circulating
- Advanced Skills Needed: Sedation experience, atherectomy, IVUS, thrombectomy a plus, RCIS a plus; scrubbing and monitoring not required but welcome.
Procedures Performed on Unit: LHC, RHC, Coronary Intervention, PPM insertion, EP studies with ablation, Watchman, TAVR, PFO closure.
Certifications Required: State licensure, BLS, and ACLS.
