Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Cath Lab Tech specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience working in the cath lab as an X-ray Tech. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional angiograms, right and left heart catheterizations, and various closure procedures. The daily caseload per tech is approximately 15 patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab.
Scrub stenting and operate the table during procedures.
Conduct coronary and peripheral angiograms.
Utilize equipment such as C-Arms and other advanced imaging systems.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in the cath lab as an X-ray Tech.
BLS and ARRT certification required; ACLS and ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
Experience with GE, Phillips, Siemens, MedRad, Excellian, GE Mac Lab, Q-Site, and Synapse is preferred.
Ability to float to Mercy Hospital - Unity campus as needed.
On-call requirements include 1-2 overnights and every 3-4 weekends.
Must be able to respond to on-call requests within a 30-minute timeframe.

This facility is a teaching hospital and a Level 2 Trauma Center with a total of 258 staffed beds. Scrubs are provided, and there are no parking fees for staff. The charting system used is Epic (Excellian).
