We are seeking top-tier Operating Room Registered Nurses to join an award-winning Level II Trauma Center in Topeka, Kansas. This position is ideal for seasoned travelers with several years of experience in the OR. Please note that first-time travelers will not be considered.
The facility sees a high volume of craniotomies and broken backs, so candidates must be confident in handling emergency neurosurgery independently. This 15-week assignment requires a current Kansas RN license, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
Role Details: RNs will be involved in a wide range of surgical cases, from routine to urgent and trauma procedures. Responsibilities will include both pre-operative and post-operative care.
On-call schedule: Candidates should be prepared for up to two 7-11s and two 7p-7a shifts per month, as well as two weekend calls from 7a to 7a each month.
