The Operating Room (OR) cares for a wide variety of patients, with specialties that include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma at a Level 1 trauma center. The facility utilizes 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Job Requirements:

• RN License NY state license ONLY
• Two (2) years operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma required
• Able to scrub and circulate
• Telemetry experience is HIGHLY DESIRED

Certifications:

• BLS American Heart Association ONLY
• ACLS PREFERRED

Preferred Surgical Experience:

• Specialty Cases: transplants, plastics, reconstructive
• Craniotomy
• Strong Ortho background
