Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in the Operating Room (OR) in Dallas, TX. This contract position is perfect for experienced RNs with strong cardiovascular (CV) experience. You will be part of a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 5 ORs (3 open and 2 Hybrids)
- Number of Staff: 15
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Type of Equipment: OR
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Procedures Performed:
- CABG
- AVR
- MVR
- Aortic replacements
- Vascular procedures
- Heart transplants
Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
Skill Set:
- Must Have: RN license for nurses, CST for scrub tech
- Preferred: CNOR for nurses
Best Personality Fit: Candidates should align with HCA culture and be adaptable to the fast-paced environment.
Dress Code: Scrub color/attire is provided for OR staff.
On-Call Protocol: 45 minutes response time measured from phone call to clocking into the unit. Weekends and nights are covered by call shifts.
