As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be a licensed healthcare professional dedicated to helping patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. You will examine each individual and develop a personalized treatment plan, using various techniques to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. PTs also work with patients to prevent the loss of mobility by creating fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.

Physical therapists provide care in diverse settings, including hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, and nursing homes. State licensure is required in each state where a physical therapist practices.
