Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg RN in Los Alamos, NM. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care. As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for caring for surgical patients and may occasionally assist in other units.

Position Information:

• Facility Department/Cost Center: MED/SURG TELE 605
• Role: RN
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Years of Experience: Minimum of two years
• Patient Ratios: 5:1
• Equipment: GE
• EHR: Medhost
• Supervisor: Michelle Ortiz, RN Director of Inpatient Services
• Type of Patients on Unit: Mostly geriatric patients

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Must be able to care for surgical patients
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience in Stepdown Unit and ability to read/interpret telemetry strips
• Personality Fit: Great attitude and ability to work in a team environment with limited resources
• Required Education: Nursing license
