We are seeking a dedicated MS/Tele Registered Nurse for a contract position in Downey, CA. This role is perfect for experienced RNs with a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Skills Required:

• Telemetry interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry monitoring on the unit
• Use of Rapid Response Teams
• IV insulin protocols
• Feeding tube care and management
• Continuous Bladder Irrigation
• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
• Renal failure management
• Accessing ports
• Blood product administration
• Central line care/management
• PICC line management
• Starting IVs
• Heparin protocols
• PCA management
• CVA management
• Ortho trauma management
• Total joint replacements
• Surgical drains
• Chest tubes - Emerson/Pleur-evac
• External CPAP/BIPAP
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Interpretation of ABGs
• Nasal Cannula oxygen face masks
• Portable oxygen tank management
• Non-invasive airway management
• Tracheostomy management
• Isolation precautions
• Wound care/Wound Vac

Important Notes:

• RTO must be on the submittal; no RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.
• No more than 3 days RTO max.
• MUST be willing to work holidays.
• Once RTO is submitted, it cannot be changed unless it's to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13-week contract.
