Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Hazard, KY. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN to work in a dynamic environment focused on maternal and neonatal care. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, and Nursery settings.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Float within the scope of practice as needed.
• Participate in a schedule that includes every other weekend and bi-weekly orientation.

**Requirements:**

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in Labor & Delivery in a Level I acute care setting.
• Must hold a valid Kentucky or compact nursing license.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.
• Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted (medical and religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis).
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.

**Additional Information:**

• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of an offer.
• All facilities operate on a 36/48 schedule for the two-week pay period unless otherwise noted.
• Ratios may fluctuate based on census and call-ins.
• No RTO edits accepted once an offer has been made; no timecard edits after the pay period closes.
