Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PCU Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients, particularly those diagnosed with acute leukemia. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are ready to make a difference in the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmias.
• Administer IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood products.
• Utilize Rapid Response Teams when necessary.
• Implement infection prevention and patient falls prevention protocols.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of overall acute care nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Preferred certifications: ONS Chemo Certification, NIHSS.

Patient Care Focus:

• Care for adults and geriatric patients with primarily acute leukemia diagnoses.
• Staffing ratios aim for 1:4, but can be 1:5.

Additional Information:

• This position requires a night shift of 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 06:30.
• Weekends may vary based on unit needs.
• Parking options are available for agency staff, with various permits at different costs.
