We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Eureka, CA. This is a contract position in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) specialty, ideal for those passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.
As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing care for high-risk obstetric patients and culturally diverse populations.
- Circulating during cesarean sections.
- Meeting staffing needs, including weekend requirements.
- Floating within your scope to meet facility needs.
Key qualifications include:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Current California state license (pending licenses are not accepted).
- Ability to float as needed.
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
Hospital highlights include:
- 11-15 rooms/beds with an average daily census of 15-20 patients.
- First-time travelers are welcome.
