We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Float Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry for a contract position in Metairie, LA. This role is essential in providing quality care for patients in the Emergency Department (ED) and Med Surg/Telemetry units.

The Float Pool RNs will care for Med Surg/Telemetry patients who are holding in the Emergency Room while waiting for floor beds. When not needed in the ED, they will provide support on Med Surg/Telemetry units, ensuring high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Med Surg and Telemetry settings.
• Float between the Emergency Department and Med Surg/Telemetry units as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Louisiana.
• EPIC experience required.
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI.
