We are seeking a skilled Medical Lab Scientist for a contract position in Covington, LA. This role requires expertise in laboratory settings, particularly in core lab and blood bank operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses in core lab and blood bank settings.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid ASCP certification and Louisiana state license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience required.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Weekend work is required.

Shift details include a Day 4x10-Hour schedule from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with an alternating shift pattern of 8 days on and 6 days off, following a Wednesday through Wednesday schedule. Please note that this position is not open to first-time travelers.
