Join a leading healthcare facility as a Clinical Decisions Registered Nurse in Elkins, WV. This 13-week travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic Clinical Decision Unit with a focus on Med-Surg Telemetry. We welcome first-time travelers and are committed to providing a supportive environment for all our nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients with cardiac, CHF, COPD, stroke, chest pain, postoperative orthopedic, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and EENT conditions.
• Monitor patients in a telemetry setting, including dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Administer IV starts, blood products, and oxygen therapy.
• Respond to rapid-response/code situations effectively.
• Document patient care using the appropriate charting system (Allscripts or Cerner).

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• 75-mile radius restriction; no locals.
• Orientation is held every other Monday.
• FLU VACCINE: Medical exemptions considered with a signed doctor's note and completed medical exemption request form. Religious exemption requests are not accepted.
