Join a leading acute-care hospital as an MRI Tech in Charleston, WV. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus on patient care and advanced imaging technology.

The MRI Tech will work the night shift from Sunday to Thursday, with a schedule of 4 ten-hour shifts (22:30 - 07:00). The average caseload is 20-25 patients per 24 hours, and you will work with a Phillips scanner in a collaborative department where you will never work alone.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered MRI tech is required. First-timers are accepted if they hold MRI registration and have the necessary experience.

Certifications Required: BCLS; ARRT (MR) or (R); WV State License (can submit with pending license).

Weekend Requirements: Some weekends may be required.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.

Skill Requirements: IV Starts are required; experience with PACS and contrast is preferred.

Special Requirements: Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings is required, including ER experience. Preferred experience includes Level 1 Trauma, Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital, and Adult ICU.

MRI Procedure Experience Required: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Spine, Musculoskeletal.

MRI Procedure Experience Preferred: CINE, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic Resonance, Spectroscopy, Spin Echo Images, T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images.

Facility Highlights: This is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a major teaching hospital with a total of 855 staffed beds. The facility is a member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH).

Additional Information: Scrub color is Caribbean Blue, and charting is done using Cerner and Fuji Synapse. Parking is free for travelers. Please note that the flu shot is required for all personnel during flu season (October 1st - March 31st), unless there is documented medical proof of an allergy. COVID vaccination is not required.
