Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Critical Care Float Registered Nurse in Madison, WI. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple ICU units, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery. You will be part of a dynamic team that provides care to critical patients in a fast-paced environment.

As a Critical Care Float RN, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in various ICU settings.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitoring and assessing patient conditions and responding to changes in status.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educating patients and families about care plans and health management.

Requirements for this position include:

• Valid Wisconsin RN or compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA ONLY).
• Experience with multiple ICU units preferred.
• Ability to pass a Telemetry test prior to starting.

This position requires evening/night shifts, specifically 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with every other weekend and some holidays. Weekend-blocked scheduling may be available for interested travelers.
