We are seeking a dedicated PCU Registered Nurse to join our team in Greensboro, NC. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, specifically in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down. Our facility is known for its commitment to providing high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs.

This role requires a Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), with rotating weekends and the potential for floating across all facilities as needed. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, and we welcome first-time travelers!

Key qualifications include:

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Experience in Neuro PCU
• Familiarity with CVA, External CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, and Yale Swallowing screen
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Experience with 1:5 ratios on a PCU unit

The 3 West unit is a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care department focused on caring for medical neurological patients. A Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD) provides monitoring surveillance for the patients. Staff is scheduled for 6-week periods via a self-assisted schedule through Optilink.
