Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PCU Registered Nurse in Johnson City, TN. We are seeking dedicated professionals for a contract position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment while working night shifts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing patient care in a 1:7 ratio when floated to Med/Surg.
• Participating in nursing student support and clinical education.
• Actively engaging in clinical care practice across various nursing specialties.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in PCU and Med/Surg.
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required.
• Must live 100 miles from the facility.
• Accepts first-time travelers.

Additional details:

• General orientation begins on Sundays, with online CBLs.
• Includes 16 hours of non-billable orientation.
• Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases.
• Additional shifts may be flexed as needed based on hospital resource needs.
