Join a leading healthcare facility as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neurology in Jennings, LA. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RRT to provide exceptional care to our diverse patient population, ranging from neonates to geriatrics. This contract position offers a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency situations.
• Work as part of an "Emergency Team" as assigned by the unit manager during critical events.
• Administer therapies and interventions to patients requiring respiratory support.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current RRT or CRT certification.
• BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
• Epic experience is required.
• Ability to resuscitate, intubate, and ventilate newborns is essential.
• Facility utilizes vapotherms for neonatal patients who do not require intubation.
• Weekend coverage every other week.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Grey scrubs are required for this position. The average daily census is 36, with approximately 6 visits per day.
