Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Operating Room (OR) in Nashville, TN. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various procedures.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 5 ORs, 1 Cysto room. Typically run 4-5 ORs a day.
• Unit staffing description: Daily board runner, one circulator, one scrub, one FA staffed to each room. Total joint procedures require additional scrub or FA.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
• Scheduling requirements: Full-time hours, 1-2 late shifts a week. Call is rotating weekends.
• Floating policy: Typically do not float. In the event of low volume, opportunities provided in other departments of surgical services (within scope).

Patient Experience Requirements:

Experience with Ortho and spine preferred as these are our primary service lines. General, vascular, urology, gynecology, neuro, ENT, podiatry, bariatric, and robotic services are also present at the facility.

Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:

• Must have: CST - must have scrub technician certification and BLS; RN Circulator - TN RN license, BLS.
• Advanced skills needed: Experience in service lines listed above is preferred.

Procedures Performed on Unit:

• General, bariatric, vascular, urology, gynecology, neuro, Ortho, spine, ENT, podiatry, robotic. Primarily Ortho and spine.

Certifications Required: BLS

Dress Code: Scrubs provided at the facility.
