Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down in Fort Myers, FL. This is a fantastic opportunity for RNs with neuro experience to make a significant impact in patient care.
The facility features a 52-bed Neuro PCU with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1. As a travel RN, you will float between the Neuro Floor's stepdown and PCU sides, managing patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5. We require candidates to have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in neuro, and proficiency in administering Cardene and Cleviprex. Additionally, the ability to read EKG rhythms is essential.
To qualify, you must have BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Your degree accreditation must be clearly stated on your profile, or you must possess 5 years of relevant experience. Please note that Galaxy Blue or White scrubs are required.
Travelers are expected to float as needed, including to other sister campuses, and all requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission, as they will not be approved afterward. A hard document deadline is set for the Monday prior to your start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation.
