About the Position

Position/Specialty: Interventional Radiology RN

Shift: 5x8s Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p

On-call REQ: Yes, call is currently once every 4 weeks for 1 week at a time Monday-Sunday

Weekend REQ: on call only

Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities? No

Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2+ Years

First-time travelers accepted? No

Experience REQ: ER/trauma/ICU/critical care/procedural nursing experience, moderate sedation

Experience Preferred: pediatric/adult vascular IR, circulating for interventional procedures

National Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, PALS

License REQ: Active South Carolina or Compact State Nursing License

Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; facility does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers.

Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs

Locals Accepted: No

RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs

Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Hurricane Season: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
