Join a leading acute-care hospital in Seattle, WA, as an ICU Registered Nurse specializing in critical care. This contract position offers the opportunity to care for Cardiac ICU patients and overflow from MICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU, with a focus on cardiology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 in the ICU.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.

Requirements:

• 2 years of critical care experience required.
• Prior travel experience is preferred; first-timers are not accepted.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (TNCC preferred but not required).
• Must be flexible with unit needs and available for every other weekend.
• Local candidates are accepted, but pending licenses are not.
• Must have no more than 6 days of requested time off.
• Floating to other ICUs and border areas is expected.

Facility Highlights:

• Type of Facility: Magnet/Teaching/Level I Trauma Center.
• Preference for candidates with experience in high volume, high acuity, teaching, and trauma facilities.
• Total Staffed Beds on Unit: 23.

Additional Information:

• Daily onsite parking cost: $15 Days M-F, $4 Sat or Sun all day, $5 Evenings, $4 Nights.
• Offsite parking available for $10/day, with a 10-minute shuttle service operational Monday-Friday from 5 am-10 pm.
