This is a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse position at a leading healthcare facility. As a member of the Float Pool, you will be floating to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, pediatric Med-Surg, pediatric PACU, pediatric ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby. Candidates must have both PICU and NICU experience and be comfortable working with pediatrics. Previous float pool experience in NICU/PICU is considered a plus.

Key responsibilities include:

• Clinical review and auto offer process.
• Work 36 or 48 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday required.
• Adhere to the facility's float policy.
• Must be available for night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Requirements:

• 2 years of PICU experience required.
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Peds PACU experience is highly preferred.
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification is required but can be submitted as pending (cost of $185).
• Epic experience is required.
• Must have a Virginia nursing license or be eligible for one.

Note: Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed. Time off can be approved for 40 hours, but no requests for time off can be approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
