Join a leading acute-care hospital in Houston, TX, as a Travel RN in the Operating Room (OR). This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on orthopedic procedures. We are seeking skilled RNs with experience in large joint and spine orthopedic surgeries to join our dedicated team.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 17 Operating Rooms; 1 Bed ER (NOT trauma designated)
• Number of Staff: 70
• Type of Equipment: Orthopedic
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Procedures: All Ortho-large joints, hand, feet, scopes, and spine (NO neurosurgery).

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have: Large Joint and Spine Orthopedic Experience
• Preferred: Well versed in total joints and spine

Dress Code: Scrub Color - Ciel Blue (sky blue); hospital does NOT provide scrubs.

Parking: Free parking garage available for employees and contractors.

Unit Guidelines:

• Report to work at 6:45 AM for huddle (Mon/Wed/Fri); shift ends at 5:15 PM (NO second shift relief).
• Call: Approximately 4 per month (M-F ONLY, no weekend call); most call worked is stay over to finish cases.
