Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department (ER) in Franklin, NC. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team. You will be part of a facility known for its commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 101
• Patient Ratios: Typically 4:1 for medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
• Unit Staffing: Techs available for cardiac monitoring and internal processing, triage, unit clerks on days and nights
• Type of Equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors
• Documentation System: Cerner

Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend; block scheduling is not available, and scheduling must meet department needs.

Floating Policy: No floating outside of the ED, but must be open to floating within all sections of the ED.

Patient Experience Requirements: AIDET, respectful behavior, and keeping patients updated throughout their visit.

Hospital Specifics:

• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all before starting date); ENPC within 90 days of hire.

Hiring Profile:

• 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (>100,000 visits).
• Previous HCA experience preferred.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in an ER setting.
• Teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback.
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.
• Advanced Skills Needed: Procedures performed on the unit.

Dress Code: Navy scrubs.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Attendance policy will be provided on day 1.
