Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in Long Term Care (LTC/SNF) in Baldwyn, MS. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential care to patients in a 100-bed LTAC facility. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to geriatric and post-acute patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Float to units within your competencies as required.
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling, as this is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Participate in the orientation process and complete all compliance documentation 7 days before the start date.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years of LTAC experience required.
• Strongly prefer experience in facilities with 400+ beds or Level 2 trauma experience.
• Prior travel experience is required; however, strong first-time travelers may be considered.
• BLS (AHA) certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:20, with a Nurse Practitioner on duty from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and ancillary assistance available during the day and night shifts.

Orientation sessions are scheduled for November 18 and December 2. Please note that the first week does not have guaranteed hours, and all healthcare professionals are expected to maintain their contracted position as the primary commitment above any other type of work.
