Join a leading healthcare provider as a PCU Registered Nurse in Beaver Dam, WI. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down setting while providing essential care to patients. We are seeking dedicated RNs who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients.

This position involves working night shifts, specifically 12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00, with a weekend rotation and every other holiday. Standby call may be required as needed. We are open to considering a 4x12 schedule if the candidate is willing to work more weekends.

Key responsibilities include caring for patients with complex medical needs, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will also be responsible for managing occasional ICU patients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of RN experience in med/surg and PCU. If you are a first-time traveler, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit is required. An active RN license is required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only). Additionally, travelers will be required to pass a telemetry exam prior to the start of the assignment.
