We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a contract position in Akron, OH. This role is ideal for a skilled nurse looking to contribute to a leading healthcare facility while providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
- Assist with labor management and delivery procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
- Must have a permanent Ohio RN License or a Compact State RN license.
