Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neurocritical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Morgantown, WV. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with critically ill patients requiring specialized care. As an RN in this unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex neurological conditions.

This position requires:

• ICU experience and critical care skills
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Ability to titrate drips including Levophed, phenylephrine, versed, paralytics, heparin, insulin, nicardipine, and vaso

The Neurocritical Intensive Care Unit has a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring that you can provide focused care to each patient. The unit is staffed with Intensivists during the day and has 24/7 APP coverage. Respiratory Therapy is available in the ICU around the clock, and RNs are responsible for monitoring telemetry strips.

Shifts are scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend and holiday shifts required as per the unit's needs. You will be expected to work three weekend shifts and one Friday and one Monday per month, along with being available for holiday coverage as needed.

To be considered for this position, please note the following submission requirements:

• Can only submit to one position at a time across the entire system
• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers must have been gone for 2 years after a full year of service

COVID VACCINE REQUIRED: Fully vaccinated means either 2 shots of Moderna or Pfizer or 1 shot of J&J. If a traveler wants to decline based on a medical or religious reason, please have them fill out the appropriate Exemption Form and email it to the designated address. These should be submitted ASAP for approval.
