Join a leading acute-care hospital in Bridgeport, CT, as a Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This contract position is specifically for winter coverage, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.

This 10-week assignment requires a start date of 12/04/2026, with local radius restrictions waived for the duration of the contract. Please note that no holiday requests for time off (RTO) will be accepted, and RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days during this period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Step Down Unit.
• Work 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00), including every other weekend.
• Float as needed within the department.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Epic experience is required.

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital with a total of 426 staffed beds and is designated as a Level II Trauma Center. Enjoy free parking and be part of the Yale New Haven Health System.
