We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Bridgeport, CT. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a progressive care unit (PCU) within a leading acute-care hospital. As a Step Down RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support to those transitioning from intensive care.

**Responsibilities:**

• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float as needed within the department and work every other weekend.

**Requirements:**

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Step Down or similar unit.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Epic experience is required.

This position is located within a Short Term Acute Care Hospital with a total of 426 staffed beds and is designated as a Level II Trauma Center. Enjoy free parking and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative healthcare environment.
