Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse in New Haven, CT. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care in behavioral health. We welcome first-time travelers and experienced RNs alike!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the behavioral health unit.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring safety and well-being.
- Document patient progress and interventions using Epic charting.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience required.
- Active RN license required before the start date.
- BCLS and CPI certifications required.
- Willingness to float between three units across campuses.
This facility is a Short Term Acute Care Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. Scrub color is royal blue, and parking is available at a cost of $125/month.
