Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in Rochester, NY, where you’ll play a critical role in providing high-quality care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position is ideal for dedicated RNs looking to make a difference in the lives of patients with complex medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients with conditions such as DKA, acute respiratory needs (BiPap, high flow, vent/trachs), ETOH withdrawal, sepsis, and CPORTS.
• Perform mandatory competencies including phlebotomy and IV placement.
• Utilize special equipment such as CADDS and PCA pumps.
• Float to other units as required and provide weekend coverage every other week.

Requirements:

• 1 year of nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Must be located more than 75 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted.
• First-time travelers are welcome.
