Please ensure traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position with a leading acute-care hospital, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. You should not apply for a role at this facility if you are not comfortable with the above.

Holiday Availability: Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Although Halloween is not a paid holiday, some units may require traveler coverage. Holiday assignments are based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation.

Avg Daily Census: 114. The unit is open to 3x12s or 4x12s with 29 rooms and a typical ratio of 1:4. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, & CPI (can be completed on site). A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, but the unit will accept first-time travelers. Scrub color is royal blue.
