Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN on a contract basis! This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team. We are looking for highly qualified candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 12 LDR beds, 5 Ante Partum Beds, 4 OBED, 3 OR Rooms
• Number of Staff: 72 (nursing, CST, and schedulers)
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 and 1:1 with transition and acuity based
• Type of Equipment: Alaris Pumps, CADD epidural pumps
• EMR: CPN and Meditech

General Information:

• Call Requirements: No
• Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period required

Typical Procedures Performed:

• C-sections, SVD, D&C, D&E, twin deliveries (both c-section and SVD)
• Scheduled and nonscheduled emergent C-Hysterectomy
• Massive Transfusion

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Certification CST
• At least 2 years experience in High Risk OB
• Nurses with at least 3 years experience in High Risk OB
• Current certification in Advanced EFM/AWHONN Intermediate EFM

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with High Risk OB including Massive transfusion
• Experience with PASD (placenta accrete spectrum disorders)
