Are you a dedicated and skilled Travel RN specializing in Telemetry? Join a leading acute-care hospital in Conroe, TX, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care on the 1 North unit. This position offers a contract for 13 weeks, with shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 32
• Number of Staff: 34
• Patient Ratios: 1:6 for nurses, 1:10-15 for techs

Typical Procedures Performed on Unit:

• Lab draws
• IV insertions
• Foley insertions
• Administer IV fluids and medications such as antibiotics
• Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures

Best Personality Fit: We are looking for a team player who is familiar with patient experience.

Required Certifications:

• BLS

Preferred Skills:

• Familiar with Expanse and admissions and discharges
• Previous Expanse experience
• Ability to draw labs
• At least one year of acute care on a Med/Surg Tele or stepdown unit

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Attend daily huddle at 0645/1845, bedside shift report, complete required daily charting.

Weekends and On-call: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
