Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 24
• Number of Staff: 50
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
• Type of Equipment: Vents, Swans, Impellas, Balloon pumps
• EMR: Typical hiring profile

Skill Set:

• Must Have: ICU experience is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered for the role.
• Preferred: Level 1 or 2 trauma experience, CV surgery experience.

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Intubation
• Central lines
• Bronchoscopy
• EVDs
• ICP monitoring
• Swan
• Pacers
• Bolts

Best Personality Fit: Excellent customer service skills are required.

Required Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS

Floating Area(s): Doctors ICU

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

• Weekends and On Call: Every other weekend; may be placed on call if not needed on the shift they are scheduled to work, but only for that shift. No other call expectations.
